<p style="text-align: justify;">Most people have an idea of what is an allergy, because today are so common that in fact to be accepted as normal, because almost everyone suffers them, selling OTC pharmaceutical products for them.</p>
<p>An allergy is an abnormal immune reaction to a substance that is normally harmless, but those presenting immune disorder, or symptoms may respond to this common substances, releasing chemicals.</p>
<p>In children, allergic disease occurs first as atopic dermatitis (eczema) or food allergies, and those children with atopic dermatitis are those with a higher risk of developing allergic rhinitis and asthma, being the age most likely, the school.</p>
<p>Atopic dermatitis:</p>
<p>This is normally the first sign of allergies and is within 10 to 20% of all children, often during childhood, also called eczema, is characterized by itching, rash with formations at locations from scratching.</p>
<p>The rash is usually red and dry, there may be small blisters and exudates can flake over time.</p>
<p>In infants and very young children, this rash usually appears on the face (especially the cheeks), chest, trunk, back and scalp, which may include the arms and legs.</p>
<p>The location of the rash changes in older children and adults in the area of skin in front of the elbows and behind the knees, as well as food allergies and the environment has been shown to worsen atopic dermatitis.<span id="more-17"></span></p>
