New rules govern the marathons carried out in the United States. This prohibits the use of music during the race, and all the mp3 players have been confiscated by police in the last marathon in that city.
This radical legislation has been adopted by the American Federation of Athletics, and its rationale is based on the idea that the music does not contribute to the normal development of the race, since it hampers communication among participants, in addition to prevent a proper control of the times and the attention to the indications given in the course of the race.
This measure seems too arbitrary, and has not been accepted by all over the world.
It is true that the music makes us running in a different way. In the personal, when I go to run hear music; I cannot fail to do so.
